Pledge Drive Rolls into Ivi Triangle

The 4FJ pledge drive hit Ivi Triangle Saturday, March 22, as the campaign ramped up its efforts to boost the stocks of fish known locally by such names as kawakawa and donu.

Another 60 people pledged during the event, pushing the total of pledgers above 550.

“The fact that this campaign is really only beginning its public outreach and already has 550 pledges tells us that this is an important issue to Fiji and creating the opportunity for individuals to do something about it, to take the pledge, is resonating with people,” said Scott Radway, executive director of SeaWeb Asia Pacific, which designed the campaign.

The following is a short video created out of the event to highlight how easy it is to brighten Fiji’s future.
